Now that's Irish!

Here we have the Gallarus Oratory, or place for prayer, in County Kerry, Ireland. Built between 600 A.D. and 1100 A.D. -- clearly, there is much uncertainty about timing of construction -- no mortar holds the structure together. It is made of carefully-fitted local stones.



Next we have St. Kevin's Church in Glendalough, County Wicklow, built in the 1100s.
